What it Does:
Bentonite clay is known as a healing clay for obvious reason.It is detoxifying and helps to remove impurities form your pores.It also clams he skin educing inflammation and redness due to acne.People often use it with apple cider vinegar to make a paste but wanted to incorporate tea tree oil into it.Tea tree oil is my holy grail essential oil.If you guys have been following me for a while,you would know i am cray about it.It is antibacterial and anti fungal which makes it a great option for acne prone skin.I use rose water to make the paste as it is very smoothing and gentle on the skin.This mask tightens pores,absorbs excess oil and redness breakouts!
What you need:
- Benonite Clay 1 tbsp
- Rose water 2 tbsp
- Tea tree oil 4-5 drops
Method:
- Mix the ingredients well
- Apply a thick and even layer on your face.
- Let it dry for 10-15 minutes.
- Remove the mask and moisturizer your face.
Use this mask twice a week for best results.You can even make a small batch and use it as a spot treatment on active acne spots throughout the days.With constant use,your skin will be healthier and clearer for sure.
NOTE:
Always carry out a small patch test on the side of your face to check for allergies and reactions.If there is unusual irritation,remove the product or face pack immediately.
